Regular Season Round 10: Mega BG - Zadar 90-89

Important game to mention about took place in Beograd. Third ranked SerbianMega BG (3-6) saved a 1-point victory at home edging top-ranked Croatian Zadar (3-6) 90-89 in the fight for the first place. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Zadar. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Zadar was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Asim Djulovic (204-2005) scored 34 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Savo Drezgic (193-2006, college: Georgia) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side Montenegrin point guard Vladimir Mihailovic (193-1990) responded with 32 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and power forward Karlo Zganec (206-1995) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mega BG keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Zadar .
